Mackenzie Crook shot to fame playing self-important paper salesman Gareth Keenan in the BBC comedy The Office alongside its creator Ricky Gervais.
Since then, the actor has gone on to star in several of the Pirates Of The Caribbean blockbusters in which he plays Ragetti, a pirate with an ill-fitting wooden eye, has performed in numerous theatre productions for which he has received critical success, written an award-nominated children’s book and has scripted, starred and directed in the Bafta-winning comedy Detectorists . Oh, and he’s also appeared in HBO’s mega hit Game of Thrones.

The actor’s latest venture sees him taking on the role of vampire hunter Larousse in the star-studded British comedy horror movie Eat Locals, directed by Jason Flemyng, which opens in cinemas September 1.

We’re rather intrigued by the US tabloid fodder favourite so it was with a keen mind and deft hand we cast the runes and flipped the tarot cards to see what fires the “braggodocious” young gun.

There is no questioning that this brash young rapper has attitude. He burst onto the rap scene back in 2011, telling the world to wake up to his genius. He has an impulsive, devil-may-care attitude but underneath it all, the tarot suggests, this is a young spirit who has had to grow up fast. He’s seen death around him, rob him of loved ones. Ryan Reynolds is one of the most popular and likeable actors in Hollywood. In his latest silver screen outing the 40-year-old actor stars as a haphazard gun for hire in The Hitman’s Bodyguard alongside acting giant Samuel L Jackson (in cinemas tomorrow, Friday, August 18). 
Ever since we saw the handsome star in TV sitcom Two Guys And A Girl we’ve had a teensy weensy crushette on him so we were delighted to divine his hidden depths, to read his runes, to find out the man behind the mask.

In a bid to shake off the memory, revive his career and prove to the viewing public there’s more in the repertoire than a balding, fat dodgy car dealer, the 51-year-old actor has signed up for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, currently airing on Channel 5. In a bid to get some inside information on the actor and singer, we called on the crystals and cast the runes to find out if Shaun can ever lay Barry to rest.

After an absence of more than 20 years, the 73-year-old actress returns to the West End stage in a new production of Alexi Kate Campbell’s Apologia , in which she plays a firebrand liberal matriarch, that will run at the Trafalgar Studios from July 29. 
Despite her successes, we feel the New York-born actress has never truly reached the professional heights her talent warrants so it was with interest we cast the runes to find out more about the gorgeous Ms Channing.

Earning a reported $1.1million per episode for his role in the phenomenally successful fantasy primetime show, he’s also fast becoming one of the richest.
 
The 30-year-old heartthrob is back on our screens on Monday (July 17) when the eagerly-awaited Season 7 of Game of Thrones will premiere on HBO. Sky Atlantic will simulcast the first episode at 2am (so it'll be July 18 to us), then show it again at 9pm. 
 
We’re huge fans of George RR Martin’s fantasy epic TV adaptation and are rather partial to a little Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch so even though it may invoke the wrath of The Red Woman, we were delighted to spread our cards and scry the dark depths of the beautiful being that is Mr. Harington.

Despite his dizzying fame and burgeoning bank account, Kit is extremely down to earth and not a bit flashy. The Tarot suggests he’s humble about his success and good fortune and would rather spend time with people he values like his closest pals and family than frequent glitzy Hollywood-style parties filled with wannabes, neverbes and hasbeens. He’s a theatre-trained thesp, darling, not a fame-hungry reality TV star! The tarot shows he’s quietly ambitious and, although, he may not always appear to want the spotlight, what lies beneath is a soul seeking to make a difference, to be remembered as a great. Our guides suggest Kit has a tendency to be a little too trusting at times and needs to work on this especially when it comes to endorsements and brand ambassador roles. Our guides show that Kit flies with the Native American Totem Raven. It may not be the three-eyed kind like the one guiding his fictional GoT half-brother Bran Stark but nevertheless it brings with it a life filled with mystical adventures and spiritual surprises. An unknown actor, with barely any acting experience, being cast in a major HBO drama is an example of the magic surrounding the life of this chosen one. Raven totem is also the keeper of synchronicity. He is a master of bending and folding time and space so that Kit is exactly in the right moment at the right time. Kit is advised to take note when he sees this corvid on the lamp posts and buildings watching him. It’s a sign that things are falling into place. The Tarot suggests he much prefers the idea of long-lasting friendships because in his mind these never get complicated. Our guides say the fact they do seems to escape him. The key to success with this beautiful boy is to keep it simple, and relaxed and to make him think you simply want to be friends. Be the best friend he’s looking for, the one he feels he can rely on, have fun with, joke around with and then never ever really leave – even if you break up in the process. The Tarot suggests this is how his relationship with former GOT co-star Rose Leslie blossomed and moved on to the next level: A friendship with added benefits. And boy does he love those benefits! The signs for this current relationship are good. However, our Witch Twitch warns Kit to reign in any feelings of insecurity and hide signs of jealousy even if he feels provoked. ​Future Prospects
It’s going to be a giddy couple of years for Kit, both professionally and personally. Riding high on his GoT stardom, the young actor will have the pick of roles. The Tarot shows there will be many people in the industry trying to typecast him, however, the cards suggests Kit will not rush in to anything, preferring to envelop himself in the shadows, waiting for the right project to lead him into the light. He doesn’t need the money that’s for sure so he can take his time. Our guides suggest another small screen role may tickle his fancy – it may also take him down a more comedic route. Perrie Edwards makes up one quarter of the hugely popular girl group Little Mix, with her bandmates Jessy Nelson, Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Formed in 2011 on The X-Factor, the feisty quartet is the only group to date to have won the ITV talent show.
 
South Shields-born Perrie is regarded as the best vocalist in the group, known for her Aguilera-esque tubes which belt out the hard-hitting and powerful vocals within the band’s harmonious pop tunes. Her love life has also made her the most prominent member of the group, having once been engaged to former One Direction star Zayn Malik and then unceremoniously dumped by him. She bit back with the song Shout Out To My Ex which won the group a Brit Award and cemented the girls’ popularity in the US.
 
Perrie and her Little Mix bandmates will light up Old Royal Naval College tomorrow night (July 7) when they perform in the Greenwich Music Times series of summer concerts.
